Weed-Be-Gone. I think Ortho makes it. But don’t use any weed killer on a lawn until it has grown enough to mow at least once. New grass is too tender and the weed killer will kill it or at least set it back a lot.

you can go to the hardware, walmarts, or any place that sells plants, and buy lawn feterlizer with weed killer just for dandilions, or other weeds, then use a spreader one that is portable or can with nailholes in bottom and spread around lawn, that will take care of your problem.

DO NOT APPLY Weed-b-gon to newly established grass. You must wait 2 months before you may use it.
There is a product called Drive which will eradicate weeds, both grassy and broadleaf without harming the newly propogated desirable turf-grasses.
Weed-B-Gon is an Ortho product, Ortho being owned by Scotts MiracleGro.
Scotts Lawn Service uses Weed-B-Gon Pro for the eradication of most broadleaf weeds, it is great stuff.
They use it at only a 2% active mix, 98% water.
Eliminate traffic on new grass, do not mow until the grass is 6″ tall. Be sure to water everyday for at least 3 weeks, this will encourage a deep root structure. When you do mow, do not bag, and do not take more than 1/3rd of the blade off at a time, so if it is 6″, only cut to 4″. Be sure your mower blade is sharp, dull blades will simply pull the entire plant(of the new grass) out, roots and all.
